About the Director
Peter Jurmann is the founder of the Bi-County Mediation Center. Peter is a member of the Association
for Conflict Resolution, Family Section, and has been working with families resolving issues related to divorce for the past
nine years. Peter is a trained family therapist, and a licensed clinical social worker who is an active member of the
National Association of Social Workers.
Peter Jurmann started the center with the goal of keeping families intact after a divorce or separation
occurs. As a family therapist, he has seen the toll that divorce takes on both parties financially, and emotionally.
Our mission is to provide you a safe, cost effective, and collaborative means of dissolving your marriage.
Robyn D. Weisman, J.D, is an attorney and experienced Divorce Mediator. She is also an active
member of the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation and Consultant Mediator on th Nassau County Family Court Mediator
Panel. Robyn has also handled numerous litigated divorce cases, and actively handles uncontested divorces.
Robyn Weisman is an Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Asscociation and a Master Arbitrator with the New York State
Insurance Department.
